Several of you are out there at the Los Angeles/Anaheim-area convention this week. Be sure, if you get to hear the great Harlan Ellison, to tell him hey from me, Shalanna! He won't remember me, but I'm the one he called to critique the first page of my SF short story because we both know Sally (she was a high-school friend of his.) That was a birthday present that I'll never forget. Hope he's doing well!

Y'all have fun, now. That is one of my FAVORITE areas, and I wish I could've come out there. Maybe next year or the next convention, I can. All I need is an RV. *rev* *rev* *rev* Then I can load up all the people and pets I am responsible for and just bring them along!

Oh, and be sure to see the ocean. You'd be surprised how many people travel out that far and just . . . forget. It's only a short drive!
