Otherwise, you'll merely feel a whiff of air on your ankle (and say it was the air conditioning) . . . see a flash of rainbow light out of the corner of your eye (and claim it was a sunbeam that flickered through the edge of the window glass) . . . hear the tinkling of chimes (and assume it's your neighbor's windchime, tuned to the rich deep key of B-flat).
