I'm sure you already know about this one
Oct. 11th, 2005 06:54 pmNational Novel Writing Month. As if there aren't enough novels out there already, here's a month in which we're encouraged to write yet more.
I don't know why I should do this. It'll just be another novel that's too quirky or too whatever to sell. It'll just lead to more pain, disappointment, and frustration. It's interesting that so many bad novels are being published--and I'm not saying that solely because *I* think so, but because Diana and her readers say so, too, in an entry in which they talk about throwing books against the wall and finding them not worthy of finishing--and there's really nothing that is a dividing line between those bad books and ours. Everything's a crapshoot.
